EVE Voice
Here's a How-to guide on all the new EVE Voice goodies in Trinity! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvK90blJeys
Voice history - Is still in the game but not accessible via Alt-V, you must be in a fleet to see the "broadcasts" window which shows voice history.

Originally by: Kaminari Rayne I downloaded and installed the patch, but when I run the game, the splash screen shows up for a second and then I get a black screen.
Try deleting your cache C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\cache
If that doesn't work, grab a LogServer file if you can and bug report it http://bugs.eve-online.com

Originally by: Talthrus What happened to all of the resolution choices?
I really like playing EVE with 1600x900 (which has been available for years). In Trinity, it seems resolutions like this have vanished. Any reason?
You can still set it manually in prefs.ini I believe.

can you set lower rates than 1024 * 768 ??
1024 x 768 is the minimum required resolution... You may be able to force the client to use something lower but I wouldn't recommend it.
There's no hurt in trying.

Having Trouble Logging In?
If you are receiving the "corrupt" error.
First try deleting your cache C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\cache
If this does not work, create a shortcut to your eve.exe file and add to the end of the target /end /LUA:OFF so it would look like this "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" /end /LUA:OFF
Then use the shortcut to access EVE.

whats the LUA bit?
LUA creates your cache folder inside the EVE install instead of in the local settings directory. i.e. C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\
